NE Teller County Fire now has a Fire Inspector for commercial properties. Please read below for more information.
Dear Community,
It is with great excitement that I write to inform you that the Northeast Teller County Fire Protection District (NETCO) has recently secured a part time-fire inspector to serve our community. We at the Fire Department believe that one of the most effective methods of providing fire protection and injury prevention services to our community involves preventing unwanted events from occurring.
Not only are we working to ensure that new development and construction projects are designed and constructed in a safe manner but we also strive to ensure compliance of the fire code in existing facilities.
In the very near future our local commercial occupancies will likely be receiving a visit by our new inspector. I would like to ask that you welcome them and keep in mind that the intent of our visit is to assist you in maintaining a safe environment for those that work and support your business.
For a list of common fire code violations please visit our website at www.netellerfire.org and as always if I can be of any assistance please call me at (719) 687-1866.
Your Fire Chief,
Tyler Lambert
If you have a commercial structure, please visit our Fire Saftey Page to learn more about the General Fire Code requirements.
